Embed on HTML

The HTML embed works on any site where you can edit the page's code.

Get your code

1. Open your Space, then Widgets, and choose your widget.
2. Click Get code.
3. On the HTML tab, click Copy.

Paste it

Put the code where you want the widget to appear, inside the body of your page:

The code you copy has your own widget ID in place of YOUR_WIDGET_ID. The min-height reserves space so the page doesn't jump when the widget loads.

A shorter version

You can also put the ID on the script tag:

How it behaves

• The widget is drawn in its own isolated container, so your site's styles don't change it.
• It loads when it gets close to the visible part of the screen.
• If something goes wrong, for example the widget was deleted, nothing is shown and your page isn't affected.
• You can add the script once and several widgets on the same page. Each one is drawn only once.

If it doesn't show

1. Check that you saved the widget and have approved at least one testimonial.
2. Check that you pasted both lines.
3. If your site has a content security policy, it needs to allow the HappySaid script and API. If you can't change it, use the iframe instead.
