Embed on Framer
Show testimonials on a Framer site: paste your widget code into an Embed element, set its size, preview it and publish. Includes a fix for blocked scripts.
On this page
Framer has an Embed element that accepts HTML, which is what the widget needs.
Steps
- In HappySaid, open Widgets, choose your widget, click Get code and copy the code from the Framer tab.
- In Framer, open the page and choose Insert, then Embed.
- Set the embed type to HTML.
- Paste the code.
- Resize the element so the widget has room: a wide frame for a Wall of Love, and a short one for a Rating badge.
- Publish.
<div data-happysaid="YOUR_WIDGET_ID" style="min-height:480px"></div>
<script src="https://cdn.happysaid.com/w.js" async></script>Sizing
An embed element has a fixed height in Framer, and the widget grows with its content. Give the element at least the height you expect, or choose a layout with a predictable height such as Single quote or Rating badge. If the widget is cut off, make the element taller.
Preview
The widget may not display in the canvas. Use Framer's preview or the published site to check it.
If scripts are blocked
If an Embed element doesn't run the script in your setup, use the iframe. It needs no script on your page.
Updates
Changes you save in HappySaid appear on your site in about a minute. You don't need to publish Framer again.
