AI-readability check
Many crawlers read your page without running JavaScript. Paste a page address and see whether your testimonials are in the HTML they receive. This is a check of what is readable, not a promise about how any search engine or AI tool will use it.
We fetch one page and its robots.txt and llms.txt. Nothing else.
How to use the AI-readability check
- Paste the full address of a page that shows your testimonials, such as your home page or your wall of love.
- Optionally add a sentence from one of your testimonials, so the check can look for it in the HTML.
- Select Check page. We fetch that one page without running JavaScript, along with its robots.txt and llms.txt.
- Read the verdict and the list of what to fix, then run the check again after you change the page.
Questions
What do the results mean?
Readable means your testimonial text is in the HTML and the page has valid review schema. Partly readable means only one of those is true, or the page has quote blocks but neither. Not readable means a crawler that skips JavaScript finds neither.
Why would a crawler miss my testimonials?
Many testimonial widgets load their quotes with JavaScript after the page opens. A crawler that reads the raw HTML without running scripts sees an empty box where the quotes should be.
Do you store my page?
No. We fetch one page and its robots.txt and llms.txt, and the HTML is never stored. Our logs keep the hostname, the response status, timing, size and the verdict, not the page or its address path.
If my page is readable, will AI assistants quote it?
Not necessarily. A readable page means the text is there for crawlers to read. How a search engine or an AI assistant uses it is up to them.
Why couldn't the check read my page?
Some sites block automated visitors. The check also stops at pages over 2 MB, gives up after 8 seconds, and limits how many checks one visitor can run in a short time.
