Import from Senja or Testimonial.to
Move your testimonials from Senja or Testimonial.to to HappySaid with their export file. The columns are matched for you. Here is what to check afterwards.
On this page
If you collected testimonials elsewhere, you can move them to HappySaid with a file. HappySaid recognises files from Senja and Testimonial.to and matches their columns for you.
Get your file
Export your testimonials from the other tool as a CSV file. Each tool decides what its export includes and which plans can export, so check the other tool's help pages for how. If the tool only offers another format, open it in a spreadsheet and save it as CSV.
Import it
- Open your Space, then the Import tab, then Upload CSV.
- Drop your file in.
- Look at the line above the summary. It reads something like "Detected a Senja export. Columns were mapped automatically."
- Open Column mapping to check which of your columns went where.
- Click Import [n] testimonials.
If the guess is wrong
Use the Format menu to choose Senja export, Testimonial.to export or HappySaid template. The preview refreshes. If columns still don't match, rename the headings to match the HappySaid template, or copy your data into it. See Import from a CSV file.
What comes across
Text, name, title, company, picture link, rating, date and the original source link, where your export includes them. Email addresses are not imported. Video testimonials aren't imported, and neither are any analytics from the other tool.
What to check afterwards
- Open a few testimonials in your inbox and check the text.
- Check the source labels. Imported testimonials show their origin and are marked as imported.
- Remember that imported testimonials aren't included in your proof page's review markup. See Review schema explained.
Permission
Moving tools doesn't change who owns the words. Make sure you have permission to show them.
