Customise the collection form

You can change what customers read on your collection page, and what they see after they send a testimonial.

Open the editor

Open your Space, then Settings, then the Collection form tab. The page has a live preview beside the fields, so you can see your changes as you type.

General

• Heading: the title of the page, up to 120 characters.
• Intro: a sentence or two of context, up to 500 characters.
• Questions: up to three prompts shown as a list above the box. Good prompts are "What problem were you trying to solve?" and "What changed after you started?" Drag a question to reorder it.
• Ask for a star rating: turn this on to show an optional five-star rating.

Thank-you

• Thank-you title and Thank-you message: shown after the customer sends a testimonial.
• Incentive message and Coupon code: optional. See Rewards on the thank-you page.

Save your changes

Click Save changes. The button is disabled until you change something. A toast confirms "Saved". Use Open collection page to see the live page in a new tab.

What stays the same

Every customer sees a required testimonial box, a required name, an optional email, title, company, photo, website and handle, and a required consent checkbox. You can't remove the consent checkbox, since it is what records permission to show the testimonial. See Consent and what we store.

Branding

On the Free and Starter plans, the collection page shows a small "Powered by HappySaid" link at the bottom. The Pro plan removes it.
