Embed the form on your site
Put your collection form on your own site so customers leave a testimonial without leaving it. Works with Webflow, Framer, WordPress, Dorik and HTML.
On this page
Your collection form doesn't have to live on its own HappySaid page. You can put it on a page of your own site, such as a "Reviews" or "Leave a testimonial" page, and customers fill it in without leaving your site. It's available on every plan.
Get the code
Open your Space, then Settings, then Collection form, then the Share tab. Under Embed on your site there are two versions of the code.
HTML (recommended)
<div data-happysaid-form="your-space"></div>
<script src="https://cdn.happysaid.com/w.js" async></script>Paste it where you want the form to appear. The form grows and shrinks to fit, so there's no scrollbar inside it. If your page already shows a HappySaid widget, you can keep a single <script> tag for both.
- Webflow: add an Embed element, paste the code, then publish. Embeds don't run inside the Designer.
- Framer: Insert, then Embed, choose HTML and paste the code.
- WordPress: add a Custom HTML block and paste the code.
- Dorik and other builders: use a custom code or HTML element.
iframe
Use this when your site builder doesn't allow scripts. The iframe has a fixed height, so a long form scrolls inside it. Change the height in the code to suit your page.
What customers see
The same heading, intro, questions, fields and consent box as your collection link, without the HappySaid page around it. After they submit, your thank-you message, reward and coupon appear in the same spot. Testimonials land in your Inbox like any other submission, with the same spam protection.
On the Free plan the form shows "Powered by HappySaid" under it, as the collection page does.
Pre-filled details
The HTML version passes name, email, title and company from your page's address to the form. If you email a customer a link to yoursite.com/reviews?name=Dan%20Lee&email=dan@example.com, the form opens with their details filled in. See Share your collection link for how pre-filled links work.
Analytics
Views of the embedded form count towards Visits on your Analytics tab, and the number that came from the embed is shown underneath. Submissions are counted the same way wherever the form is.
Changes and your slug
Changes you save to the form appear in the embed within a minute. The code uses your Space's slug, so if you change the slug, copy the new code to your site.
